After days of being apart from her boyfriend, the blond had come to the conclusion that it was better if they ended things. Things had changed between the two of them after they got back from Europe a month ago, they thought the trip would’ve bring them closer and make their relationship stronger but apparently it did the entire opposite thing; as soon as they got back they pretty much drifted from each other. James got insanely busy with his work and so did Ashley, who unconsciously cheated on him with one of her friends while they went out to a club in LA. Ashley never told James about that but he had already known that because of all the pictures going around the media; Ashley had become a wreck ever since she started dating James, she loved him and she would do whatever he wanted her to do just because. She had never felt so worthless before, before the two of them got together they would always have a good time but right after they made it official things changed so fast but Ashley was too busy having this entire image of her relationship with james on her head where they were this perfect couple everyone would die to be. Not anymore.

Getting up from her bed, she got down to her kitchen to grab a glass of water. She had asked James to come over to speak things out and finally put this entire relationship to an end since she wouldn’t see this going anywhere. Swallowing the water she took a deep breath and walked to sit on the couch, her mind throwing the words she could say once James gets there. Ashley had became a mess, anyone could see that.. Never had she thought a relationship could do so much damage to herself, shaking her head, the blonde turned the TV on to watch something until her soon to be ex-boyfriend arrived.

“Ash, Ash… I’m going to stop you right there” He chuckled as the blonde said all of those options, changing from going somewhere else to simply staying there. “I know you’re afraid of my golfing skills, so I’ll spare you the humiliation. I’m up for staying here, though, and you do need a tan..” Ryan joked as he threw some sand to Ashley’s legs, knowing that he was probably going to get punched again. “You looked okay, but you look better with the beanie. Because, y’know, it covers your face and stuff” He pointed at his own face and laughed, quickly shaking his head and affirming he was kidding. She already knew that, though, he had told her multiple times in the past how beautiful she was.

After hearing Ashley’s impression of himself he tried to keep a straight face, but failed terribly as he couldn’t help but burst out in laughter. “That was by far the worst impression I’ve ever heard.” He kept shaking his head while laughing until he felt her fingers in his hair. The grin grew in his face as he remember how often she used to do that when they were dating, and damn it had been a while. “You need to work on your hair, Ash, and your swag, and your impressions. I’ll make a list, don’t worry.” He shot her a playful wink before he laid back down on the sand. That was typical them. Things were about to get awkward or serious? Not with them, they would always find a way around it and turn the whole situation into a joke. Ryan glanced up at the blonde before speaking again. “C’mere, even if your hair isn’t as awesome as mine you’re still pretty cool.” He said with a nod as he patted the spot next to him on the sand. Ashley was way more than pretty cool for him, but he couldn’t really say his real thoughts without feeling really pathetic for being there with her, but not in the way he’d really want to be with her.

The blond stared a him while he kept speaking, nodding as she followed his words. Shaking her head she laughed as she took her shirt off, staying in only her bra. This wasn’t a big deal for Ashley, her friends, mostly the girls, would make a big deal whenever Ashley decided to take her shirt off and walk around with her bra showing. She would’ve never understand, so women are allowed to wear bikinis and everyone can look at them but when your bra is showing you’re suddenly the center of the attention? Um, maybe that was Ashley’s main reason, be the center of attention. “Thanks for your input, I do need a tan. Thank you Ryan” she added bitting her lower lip as she let the guy finish his sentence. Laying down on the sand the girl pulled the beanie down to haver her face fully covered, laughing, “So I guess I better stay this way. Now let me get my tan on” she bossed him.

Ashley frowned as he claimed her impression to be the worst so far, it probably was but she just couldn’t let him know that she’d agreed with him. “I doubt many people go around trying to make their best Ryan Good impressions. Who do you think you are? Ashley Benson” The blonde teased him rising an eyebrow. As Ryan spoke, she layed on his chest staring at him until he finished talking; she couldn’t help but gaze at him, it had been quite a while since they both were this close, her fingers wouldn’t stop circling his chest, smiling she licked her lips before speaking. “Hey. At least you know I’m pretty” the girl added winking at him, she layed there for a few minutes in silence, realizing she could stay that way forever without being bothered. “Well, what do we do now?” she inquired to Ryan as she kept running her fingers over his chest.
